Public bodies can access the frameworks by signing up to a simple Access Agreement with the HCA. This is very easy to set up, and the HCA can normally do this within 24 hours of a public body contacting them. If you wish to sign up to use the Panel, please contact:
Services can be procured through a simple mini-competition process that varies according to the value of the work:
- Below £10,000: consultants may be appointed with no competition by submitting a proposal in response to a brief
- Between £10,000 and OJEU threshold: 3 Panel members are selected and invited to submit a tender in response to a brief
- Above OJEU threshold: A two stage process, with a Sifting Brief exercise to achieve a maximum of five Panel members. Members are then invited to submit a tender in response to a brief.
The HCA’s guide to using the Multidisciplinary Panel can be found here.
