Social Value

Both Tibbalds and CampbellReith are deeply committed to making a positive impact on society and we believe that success goes beyond just economic gains. Our core belief is that true success involves recognising our responsibility to improve the social fabric of the communities we serve and the projects we undertake.

We engage in a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects, and we understand the significant role we play in shaping communities and society as a whole.

As part of our commitment to social value, we have identified the importance of accurately documenting, monitoring, and showcasing the social benefits that result from our work. To achieve this we will work with you at the start of every project to agree how best to achieve social value within the project and what extra social value we can offer as a team.  We will record the social value we deliver throughout the life of your project and report back to you on our progress at key intervals.

We are dedicated to creating value for customers and bringing about positive impacts on society, the economy, and the environment. We are determined to put in place plans that improve the lives and well-being of people influenced by our actions in the areas and communities where we work.

Our strategic commitments are focussed on six main areas:

Skills
Create employment and training opportunities

Skills:

We will create employment and training opportunities particularly for those who face barriers to employment and/or who are in deprived areas, and for people in industries with known skills shortages or in high growth sectors by:

  • providing our employees with access to training and mentoring to develop skills for the future;
  • creating employment opportunities within the communities that we work;
  • removing barriers to employment for underrepresented and disadvantaged groups; and
  • offering employment opportunities to those who have served in our armed forces.
